Breeze and Wilson Concert Draws Near

Breeze and Wilson 2The committee are currently putting the final touches to what we hope will be a great nights entertainment at the hall with our friends and neighbours.

We have three tickets left but if you haven’t shown any interest because you want four please ask as we are sure we can find room so don’t delay please get in touch as we are certain to sell the remaining tickets.

Here’s looking forward to a great night all round.

Breeze and Wilson Tickets Selling Out Fast

The committee are delighted with the sale of tickets for the event.

As of Tuesday 12th May they had sold 45 tickets leaving less than 10 to sell and make the event a sell out.

Tickets can be purchased on line by the dedicated event page or by contacting Alison or Martyn – click this link HERE to jump to the relevant page.

The concert is priced at £10 each which includes a plated ploughmans supper. In addition there is a lisenced bar and weather permitted we hope to do cocktails outside in the sun prior to the concert.

JCB to Sponsor the hall’s 2016 Fundraising Calendar

JCBThe hall has received some very good news – massive thank you to JCB who have very generously agreed to sponsor our 2016 calendar (yes we are already planning for it!)

The plan is for the calendar to feature photographs taken by the community of the local area.

We will announce how to submit the photo’s in due course but one way is via the annual gardeners show in August which will have a photography section and the best photographs will be considered for the calendar.

Once again a very big thank you to JCB

Breeze and Wilson – Pay Pal option now added to site

Pay PalTo assist anyone interesting in buying a ticket we have added a Pay Pal ‘BUY NOW ‘ option to our site for the concert.

Click the PayPal image to the left and it will take you to the Breeze and Wilson event page where you can purchase your tickets.

You can still message us via the contact form or call us using the phone numbers supplied or you click the Pay Now button and pay for your tickets by a Pay Pal account or using a debit card (we don’t see your card details)

We will deliver any tickets purchased on line within a reasonable distance of Kingsley or we will advise you of your ticket number and hold them at the door on the day.

Easter Breakfast a great success !

IMAG0778Easter Saturday 4th April saw the halls second ever Easter Breakfast event.

Despite the wet and cold weather there was a bumper turn out at the hall with at least 50 breakfasts served to young and old. It was especially nice to see some of the younger members of the community enjoying a breakfast and doing some crafts.

The event raised around £200 towards the hall’s up keep as well as raising awareness to some who were visiting to us for the first time.

We were grateful to those who made the effort to travel from out of the area and we were even a stop off point for one of our prospective MP’s who was in the area canvassing and dropping leaflets.

DEFIB fundraising draws to a close

Defib DonationLast Thursday saw another donation to the defibrillator fund as County Councillor Elsie Fallows gave £100 from her Councillors Fund to the project.

The donation drew to a close a fantastic community effort that has seen in less than 4 months almost £2000 raised to fund two defibrillator cabinets and ongoing maintenance at the village hall and the Blacksmiths at Kingsley Holt.

Said hall committee chair Martyn Hordern ‘this is a fitting point to draw the fundraising  effort to a close, we have a fund now to maintain both devices for the next few years’ He added once again a big thank you to everyone who donated’

Pictured is Councillor Fallow’s handing over the cheque to hall secretary Sue Hordern in front  of one of the cabinets.
